Parry Aftab recognized for keeping our kids safe

News conference to mark National Missing Children’s Day

Ottawa (MMD Newswire) May 20, 2011 – – Deputy Commissioner Line Carbonneau and RCMP National Missing Children Services (NMCS) extend an invitation to you to attend a news conference to mark National Missing Children’s Day.

This year NMCS is recognizing the work of child safety advocates Dr. Parry Aftab and Mr. Allan McCullough who partnered with the national Amber Alert Working Group and Facebook Canada to create Amber Alert pages for missing children on Facebook.

CS is part of the RCMP’s Canadian Police Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. (CPCMEC)

We are all so proud of Parry – and glad to see that she had a little fun during the event too!
